The Pixalo app

The app is your assistant on the go and on set. It shows cards on the display, creates jobs and reports every order. Free. For iPhone and Android. With your Pixalo account.

At a glance

  • Sign in with the same details as in the dashboard.
  • Four areas: Jobs, New, Orders and Profile.
  • You upload photos in the dashboard. Nobody needs the app for that.
1

Install

The app is free and included in every Pixalo plan. It runs on phone and tablet.

The app is optional

For photo day, your camera and the printed cards are enough. The app helps when a card is missing or you want to create jobs on the go.

What the app does not do

The app reads data and creates things. It does not clean up. You do these things in the dashboard:

  • Upload and match photos. See Upload photos.
  • Delete children, groups or jobs.
  • Client galleries for single jobs such as weddings. The app only shows jobs with groups.
  • Products, prices, shop and studio settings.

Always up to date

The app works directly with your account. What you create in the app is in the dashboard right away and the other way round. There is no syncing, and none is needed.

Frequently asked questions

Does the app cost anything?

No. It is included in every plan.

Does the app run on a tablet?

Yes, on iPad and Android tablets.

Do I need internet on set?

Yes, the app loads groups and cards directly from your account. If the network on site is weak, take the printed cards. They always work.

I get no notification for new orders.

Switch on New Orders in the profile and allow notifications for Pixalo in your phone settings. Team members also need the Orders permission.

Why don't I see my wedding in the app?

The app shows jobs with groups and children. You manage client galleries in the dashboard under Client gallery.
