Sports club photography

Team photos that sort themselves.

Every player gets a card with a QR code. You shoot, Pixalo sorts. Families open their child's photos with one code, the team photo included.

  • Teams, not classes
  • One QR card per player
  • 0% commission

The difference

A club photo day has its own rhythm.

Twelve teams on one Saturday. Players come straight from training, the coach wants the team photo before kick-off. That calls for a workflow that knows teams, players and families, not school software with a new label.

  • Teams, not classes

Set up teams like U9, U11 or Women's First XI. Coach and age group per team, season and league per job.

  • Shirt number and position

Store shirt number and position for every player. You find anyone fast, even with three Liams in the squad.

  • Squad list from a photo

Snap the printed squad list with the Pixalo app and names and teams are read in. Typing works too, of course.

The workflow

How photo day works.

Four steps from squad list to order. You focus on the photos. Pixalo does the sorting.

  1. 01Print the cardsEvery player gets a card with a QR code and a personal access code. You adjust the design in the card designer.
  2. 02Card first, then the photoBefore each player, take a quick shot of their card. The team photo gets its own team card.
  3. 03Upload, already sortedPixalo reads the codes and assigns every photo to the right player. Unclear photos go to a review list, never into the wrong album.
  4. 04Families orderParents open the gallery with their code. Siblings on other teams join with up to five codes in one cart.

After the upload

Every photo finds its player.

Instead of sorting folders, you see a scoreboard after the upload. How many photos came in, how many are assigned and which ones need a quick look.

  • The team photo goes with the team card and is visible to the whole team.
  • Individual photos go to the player and are visible only with their code.
  • Photos without a readable card wait for you in the review list.

For families

One code. Their own child. The team photo too.

Parents see only their child's photos and the photos of their team. Ordering takes a few minutes, and the money goes straight to your account.

  • Team photos as prints only, if you like. The file is then not available for download.
  • Siblings on different teams: up to five codes, one cart, one shipment.
  • Packages like "All photos digital" or favourite photos at a fixed price.
  • An order limit per code, if the club wants one.

Pixalo takes no commission. You pay a flat subscription from £8.60 per month. Every sale is yours.

Questions

Sports club photography: common questions

What photographers want to know before their first club photo day.

Every player has a card with their own QR code. You photograph the card before their photos. On upload, Pixalo reads the codes and assigns all following photos to that player until the next card appears.

They go to a review list, where you assign them in a few clicks. No photo shows up unchecked in someone else's gallery.

Every team has its own team card. Photos after that card belong to the team and are visible to all its players. If you like, you sell them as prints only.

Yes. Families enter up to five codes in one session and order everything in one cart, with one payment and one shipment.

No. You create a job of the type Sport in Pixalo. Teams, players, shirt numbers and positions are then built in. School and nursery jobs run in the same account.

A flat subscription from £8.60 per month, with no commission on your sales. You can try Pixalo free for 14 days.
